Ukrainian troops repel more than 120 enemy attacks in five directions

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 120 Russian attacks in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions.

“Over the past day, the enemy launched 21 airstrikes and nine missile strikes, one of them – on the town of Slovyansk. No civilian casualties were reported. Another missile strike was launched on a civilian infrastructure object in Kramatorsk. Seven apartment blocks and three private cars were damaged. Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties. Also, the enemy launched 57 MLRS attacks,” the report reads.

Over the past day, the enemy’s main objective was to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Russians focused their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions. With their professional and coordinated actions, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 120 enemy attacks in the specified directions.

In Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. The Russian Federation continues to keep a significant military presence in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. The formation of offensive groups is not observed. At the same time, the enemy continues to reinforce the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. Over the past day, the enemy fired mortars and artillery at the areas of 26 settlements, including Seredyna-Buda, Sopych, Starykove, Atynske, Kostiantynivka, Kindrativka, Volfyne, Oleksandrivka, Popivka, Studenok, and Turya in Sumy region; Kamyanska Sloboda, Khrinivka in Chernihiv region; Hlyboke, Morokhovets, Vovchansk, Zemlianky, Krasne Pershe, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamyanka, Krasne, Novomlynsk, Strilecha, and Chuhuivka in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through Ukraine’s defense, firing artillery at the areas of 11 settlements along the contact line, in particular, Kupyansk, Krokhmalne, and Berestove in Kharkiv region; Nevske, Pishchane, Bilohorivka, Dibrova in Luhansk region; Spirne, Torsk, and Novoselivka in Donetsk region. The enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations near Novoselivske.

In Bakhmut direction, the occupiers continue assaulting the town of Bakhmut.

At the same time, Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, and Pivnichne. Minkivka, Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Bakhmut, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Dyliyivka, New York, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Pryvillia, and Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region were struck. In total, 12 settlements came under enemy fire in this direction.

In Avdiivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to advance in the direction of Berdychi, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Pervomaiske, and Novomykhailivka settlements in Donetsk region. Areas of 17 settlements were hit, in particular, Novobakhmutivka, Kamyanka, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Orlivka, and Tonenke in Donetsk region.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russians hold their defense. Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Bilohirya, Orikhiv, and Charivne in Zaporizhzhia region; Vremivka, Novopil, Pervomayske in Donetsk region; Dudchany, Kozatske, Blahovishchenske, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Berehove, Chervonyi Mayak, and Yantarne in Kherson region came under enemy fire. In total, 41 settlements were struck.

“Over the past day, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched 12 strikes on enemy personnel and military equipment clusters. The missile and artillery units hit three enemy manpower clusters,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine summed up.
