Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A video published to Live Leak shows an Iraqi Army officer disarming a suicide bomb belt that was strapped to a young boy in the city of Mosul. The video claims the child to be the youngest ever suicide bomber – although that has not been verified.

The boy, known as Uday, was wearing an Eden Hazard Chelsea uniform and hiding among families who were fleeing from the Islamic State terrorist group, outside the city of Mosul.

Uday said that he was sent by his uncle with instructions to target Iraqi Army soldiers.

The footage showed an Iraqi Army officer carefully disarming the suicide vest strapped to the boy, telling him “don’t be afraid.”

The Islamic State frequently abducts children, especially those who are residents of Mosul or Yezidi families, and after being abused and brainwashed they are forcibly employed as spies and actual soldiers in the terrorist group’s children brigade, known as ‘Cubs of the Caliphate.’
