Turkey wants to purchase the Russian S-400 surface-to-air missile systems on credit. It was reported by head of the Russian Rostec state corporation Sergey Chemezov.
However, the issue has not been decided yet. Negotiations are being carried out by the Ministry of Finance.

As soon as decision on the loan is taken, a contract on delivery will be signed.
It became known that Turkey will purchase the Russian surface-to-air missile systems in November last year. This country is not the first oversea customer.
In spring 2015 they were bought by China. Cost of the deal allegedly made up about 3 billion dollars.

While in October 2016 an interstate agreement on supply of the S-400 was signed with India.
The West meanwhile has put this mobile surface-to-air missile system on a list of weapons which hold Europe in awe and influence the balance of power throughout the world.
The S-400 was named as the most up-to-date defence weapon against hostile missiles and aircraft.
