Protests continue in condemnation of Trump’s proclamation on occupied Syrian Golan

Provinces, SANA- Official and popular activities on Tuesday continued to hold stands in condemnation of US President Donald Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan.

In Damascus, thousands of profs and students from Damascus University gathered in front of UN building in Damascus in protest against Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan.

In al-Rufaid town and the surrounding villages in Quneitracountryside , a stand was organized by the locals to express rejection of Trump’s proclamation.

Participants in the stand, held in front the municipality building, affirmed that the Golan is a Syrian Arab land and that Trump’s declaration is illegitimate and it doesn’t change the historical facts.

Meanwhile, farmers in Lattakia province held a stand in denunciation of Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan.

In Sweida southwestern countryside, popular activities organized a stand in condemnation of Trump’s declaration on the occupied Syrian Golan.

Participants in the stand, who gathered near the Martyrs’ Memorial, expressed condemnation of Trump’s void declaration, affirming that the Golan will return to the homeland despite of all the hostile conspiracies and schemes and the unjust Zionist practices.

In Homs central province, a stand was organized in al-Bayyada neighborhood in condemnation of Trump’s proclamation on the occupied Syrian Golan.

Participants in the stand asserted that the Golan is a Syrian Arab land, calling upon the international community and the Security Council to take a decision that would stop the US recklessness which contradicts with the international conventions and laws.
