The terrorist group IS has killed 300 civilians and kidnapped an additional 400

The abductees are reported to be family members of soldiers fighting for the Syrian regime , reports the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights ( Sohr ) .

– There is a genuine fear of the group ( IS) may execute them , as they did before in other areas, said Rami Abdel Rahman , at Sohr .

IS should also have killed at least 85 civilians and 50 government soldiers . According to the Syrian news agency Sana , citing residents in the area, about 300 people have been killed in the attack .

Sohr state that the terror group controls more than half of Deir Ezzor and the parts that are not controlled under siege. The accommodations in the city, a majority of whom are women and children , are suffering acute food shortages . The area is strategically important because it connects Raqqa , the capital of IS , IS- controlled areas of Iraq.
Even in Raqqa have been civilian casualties required . Saturday’s bombing of the city has so far claimed at least 40 lives , eight of whom are children, according Sohr . It is unclear if the attack carried out by the US-led coalition, or by Russian warplanes .
