Addis Ababa, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) Ethiopian Airlines dispatched today
an all-female flight crew to Buenos Aires, Argentina, on International Women”s Day.
This is the first flight with these characteristics from the Ethiopia airline to the South American city, operating the B787 Dreamliner, although this is not the first time that the main Africa aviator organizes a trip of this kind.
In December of 2017, they made history by sending one such team on an intra-African tour from Addis Ababa to Lagos.
An all-women group means the entire flight management team consists of women: from the pilots and cabin crew to in-flight ramp operations and flight dispatchers on the ground.
The airline, a member of the Star Alliance group and almost 70 years of service, currently flies to more than 50 African cities, making it the largest network of a national operator.
It works with the youngest and most modern fleet in the region to 95 international destinations in the 5 continents.
