Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a crowd in Iran’s western city of Kermanshah on Friday, killing at least four women.
In the shooting incident that occurred at 9:53 on Friday morning (local time), the gunmen aboard a car shot the four women to death and escaped away, Tasnim News Agency reported.
Judicial authorities in Kermanshah Province rejected the possibility of a terrorist attack and said personal issues are behind the attack.
Mohammad Hossein Sadeqi, a judicial official in Kermanshah, said the victims included a mother and her three daughters.
He further emphasized that the gunmen have been identified and their arrest is high on the agenda of the security forces.
