After their participation in the most violent attack and fight against Jaish al-Islam in the capital, fight between members of Al-Rahman Corps and Hayyaat Tahrir al-sham in the Eastern Ghouta causes casualties and and wounded.

 Tension prevails the Eastern Ghouta between al-Rahman Corps against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham on the backdrop of an argument turned into fighting and clashes between members of both parties, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, while a member of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham is passing through a checkpoint belongs to al-Rahman Corps in Hamoria area in the Eastern Ghouta, he refused to stop at the checkpoint and opened fire at the checkpoint, injuring two members of al-Rahman corps, and a fighter of al-Rahman Corps opened fire at the member of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham who comes from Jobar Damascene neighborhood, killing him immediately,  amid a state of alert among groups of both parties, while tension prevails in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, which is witnessing a truce since the 22nd of July 2017, amid fears among the people of Ghouta about developing the situation between both parties.

It’s worth mentioning that Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham supported al-Rahman Corps during its battle against Jaish al-Islam in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, which broke out in April of 2016 and 2017, in which hundreds of members of both parties were killed. Both of them also participated the last battle that followed a violent attack of their fighters on the capital Damascus on the 19th of March 2017 until the 25th of the same month, in which the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 82 members of the regime forces and their allied militiamen of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, including at least 9 officers of the regime forces, and the Observatory also documented the death of at least 115 fighters of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham
