Time magazine’s latest cover is sure to make some readers do a double-take, as it features a morphed image of President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The July issue was published after the two leaders’ controversial summit in Helsinki earlier this week.
Trump has been criticized by both the Democrats and Republicans for suggesting earlier this week that he had accepted Russian denials of interference in the 2016 U.S. election, contrary to the conclusions of American intelligence agencies.

A day later, Trump said that he misspoke and that he did accept the agencies’ conclusions.

Time said on its website that the composite image, by visual artist Nancy Burson, is meant to represent this particular moment in U.S. foreign policy.
